One of the latest examples is Hyundai’s “Message from Space” video, now approaching 60 million views and counting after just a few weeks.
The premise is simple: Stephanie is a 13-year-old Houston girl whose dad just happens to work on the International Space Station. How can she tell him just how much he is missed? How about a message he can see from space?
Enter Hyundai, who used 11 specially-equipped Genesis cars to carve out a giant “Steph loves you” on a dry lake bed, much like the famous Nazca lines in Peru. Who knows how many cars it might sell, but you can’t argue with the feel good results for the brand.
